Doctor
Dr. Jeffrey L Munn Dr. Munn received his DVM degree from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. His undergraduate study was also at NC State, graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science. He first began practice in the Concord area and has been in the greater Charlotte region for over 6 years. Dr. Munn has the greatest interest in internal medicine, cardiology and ophthalmology. He has had editorial publication in Veterinary Forum, and the NCVMA quarterly. Honors include past and present membership in Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Medical Honor Society and recipient of Award for Excellence in Small Animal Internal Medicine, 1997. In 2004 Dr. Munn became a member of the Veterinary News Network and has been a contributor or quoted in current event articles relating to veterinary medicine such as the pet food contamination crisis.

Dr. Mauricio R Amat From: Miami, FL
Background: DVM from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Undergraduate Study at Wake Forest University. He has practiced in the Charlotte area since 1997.
Medical Interests: Dr. Amat enjoys surgery, including soft tissue and orthopedic. He does many procedures including ACL repair, fracture repairs, surgical oncology, exploratory laparotomy, cystotomy and many others. He also received an Award of Excellence in Small Animal Surgery, 1997.
Family: Dr. Amat has a beautiful daughter, Hallie and his family visits regularly from Miami. Shula, is his high strung female herding dog mix.
Other Interests: He enjoys about anything on the water, mountain biking, and watching the Sopranos.
Favorite Teams: Miami Dolphins, Miami Hurricanes, Wake Forest Deacons, and Florida Marlins. |
